Hondo, have you given up your first born yet?
That's what it might take unless there is a nice soul out there

well I ordered one from a supplier that says its a 3 prong hazard flasher unit for a 70-71 model year so I will see if it works, now I need to work on the hazard rocket switch, I took it apart and cleaned it but its still not working well, there is a small solid copper dumbell looking roller that rolls back and forth between contacts and its not rolling well. dont know where I can get one so I might just have to find a new rocket switch and retro fit it in its place

Here is what I ended up doing. It has a light to it too..
Not the best pic though

Don,

I felt my head tilting to the right looking at your picture.

Why do you have the speedometer and tachometer rotated slightly?

Hey Don where did you get the hazard rocker switch, I sent you a pm too

Hondo

and the racers trick was to rotate your Tach so that your needle was pointing at 12 oclock position at max rpm shift point

Son of a gun ,you did.
Actually you rotate to the optimum position is straight up. The position for both the tach and the speedo is my optimum cruising speed so both are the same point at that time

So your optimum cruising speed is 65mph? My TR6 was just starting to breath by that point.

I thought I had heard the trick was to rotate the tach so your redline was at the 12 o'clock position.

Scott, It is but I don't think the car would see that that often and it would surely not be cruising at that.

Shawn, 65. Slow speed limits here.
If I had over drive I prolly would have spun it to 70

Unbelievably, they actually raised the speed limit to 70mph on less-busy sections of the Interstates here in VA recently. Nice for me since my daily drive to work covers 30 miles of Interstate.

Was just on 495 last week going from 270 to 95N. The speed limit is 55. If your not doing 70+ your gonna be driven over.

my hazard switch came in, but its round, I am going to check it today and see if it works, it is a 3 prong unit, if it works I will make a bracket for it to plug into on the inner fender wall

I hooked the Hazard flasher up and darn it WORKS, and yes Don its on the inner fender wall, drivers side just forward of the fuse box

now if my hazard switch gets here and is correct I will be IN BUSINESS and every thing in the electrical system will work like its suppose to

I think the confusion stems from where you said "my hazard <span style="font-weight: bold">switch</span> came in but it's round". Most likely you meant "hazard <span style="font-weight: bold">flasher</span>"

Thanks Randall, that is exactly what was confusing me.
And yes , most of the new flashers are round and Blue

Purely suggestions. Good thing about some of the desert roads around here; there's no place for the gendarmes to hide.
