Still having hard starting problems with the BJ7. Have adjusted timing and checked plugs for proper color. The engine does not seem to be running lean if plug color is a good indicator.
The engine starts with just a touch of the starter button when the engine is warm. It will also start easily if I prime a carb with a little bit of gasoline. Could the fuel pump be the culprit? How many psi should the pump produce?
I also notice that the front carb body has moisture condensing on it when the engine is running and warm. This does not occur on the rear carb.
