Hi All,
I have two problems to throw into the great knowledge pot:
I have had an intermittent problem with the power wire from the light switch to the middle fuse. I replaced the high low column switch first and then found it was the headlight master switch. I then replaced that but am still having the problem once and a while. I am tired of losing half the electrical in the car when this happens.
Anyway, I want to replace the old three fuse box with a modern fuse box and seperate all the areas into their own fuses.
I have a few questions before I venture into this:
Does anyone know where I would find out what amps the individual items would be fused at when seperated, or would they all be the same as when they are when grouped together?
I was going to get the new fuse box from the wreckers,is there one make/model better than another?
Has anybody done this already?
Second problem:
I have an electric fuel pump, and late last season the car got hard to start. I have to let the pump run much longer to get the car started. Once it starts it runs fine, and starts pretty reliably, but after it sits over night, it is hard to start again.
Any ideas where to start looking, maybe a fuel pressure check?
Thanks for any help.
Joe
