Looks like it may be time to start putting some orders together for parts from your favorite British suppliers...

According to this it's dropping fast.

Last time it was below $1.40 per pound I did a nice order at AH Spares.
Not sure but I think I got it at $1.37 / GBP.
I need a new soft top and some bits & pieces but I can wait a bit.

I bought the tube shock kit from Frontline a couple of years ago when it was around $1.40/GBP. I need to see what else I can't live without!

There's a lot of worry in Europe about the Euro dropping, and I suppose it's carried over to the Pound Sterling. It's likely they'll do something to shore it up more in the near future, so if you US guys plan to take advantage, do it reasonably soon. On the off chance that their effort might actually work, I mean.

I'd bet that it's headed a bit further south, also the Euro.

The Euro at it's intro was about .89 to a dollar, if I recall. When it gets down around 1.15 or so, I might have to plan another european vacation!

Unless, of course, the dollar ends up in the crapper as well.

Ugh . . . :cryin:

As far as a vacation - that might be a long trip,
until the volcano settles down.
I remember when it was almost 1=1 on the pound.I
bought a Lotus ring & pinion for $89.
