I'm very slowly putting together the parts for an MG Metro Turbo conversion for my Midget and one of the things I need to have is a return line to the tank. My 1973 Midget originally had emissions equipment which included a "Vapor" return line to the tank. It enters the tank just fore of the fuel filler pipe and appears to be a 1/2" fitting. My question is: Can I use the "vapor" inlet on the gas tank to return the liquid gas that gets diverted by the OEM MG Metro Turbo fuel pressure regulator? My gut feeling is that it is just a plain straight fitting emptying into the gas tank with no baffles or restrictions but I'ld like to get some confirmation before I get gasoline pumping into my boot!
