fuel lines & rear springs

Hey chicago, rotten day here too. Springs interchange, most people upgrade to the "rally" springs from whatever source they prefer. The important thing is to inspect the upper perches for signs of cracking. If it breaks, one side of the car drops.Also inspect the frame where the swing arms mount, block off the extra holes that the factory left to allow in mud and slop in. this will slow the process......

First, love your city, especially in the spring/summer. They do a bang-up job of keeping downtown beautiful. Second City, Old Town, the food, lots to enjoy....
Springs. I upgraded my TR6 with "competition" springs, went through several venders (including the venerable TRF and Moss) till I found Brit Parts Northwest. Theirs worked best, were slightly shorter than the stock, lowered rear about 1/2 inch, but did not alter ride geometry at all. The ride is comfortable, too. Give em a call. They are the ones that manufacture the one-piece tube shock bracket that everyone else sells.

but starting to plan.
Rear springs: what's the difference between older and newer model TR6 rear springs? or can any set fit any year?

What size are the carb fuel lines? 4-6??
will be replacing with stainless braided lines not sure how to convert standard size to newer sizing?
want to order online cause much cheaper than local.

other than that will replace front bearings, seems like a simple afair and wait for warmer weather : )

Hello Chicago,

I'm fairly sure that both Zenith and S.U. use 1\4" lines to the carburettor.

If the fuel lines on the carborators are the same size as the fuel line from the fuel pump, then it is 1/4" as Piman said. I recently put in a new fuel line on my TR6 and it was 1/4".

can u use fibreglass underneath and it will hold or we talkin only inside the floor pans
