TR6 Follow-up to hard starting

garage temperature 45F. Car sat for 6 days. Started in 6 seconds. Much better but acid test will come letting sit for 3 weeks or more. Raining outside so I didn't take it out nor did I let the engine warm up at all so as not to make condensation in the oil.
 
Might take a little longer because the fuel in the float chamber is going to be a little lower.
But that's not a bad thing in my opinion, the additional cranking time will get the oil circulating, especially to the rocker assembly which is always a little slow getting oil at start up...at least if the engine hasn't run in a while.
 
PD, Just a BTW:
thanks to your "hard starting" thread, I am no longer wearing out the gas pedal trying to start my 3A, under full choke.
just bump it a few times & she fires right up.
always nice to learn something new.
