First "real" tour
You might remember I bought a '63 Midget this past Memorial Day, whined about the gearbox going bad on the way home.....
Well, I had it up at our vacation spot which was a cottage on a lake about 55 miles from home, not real far. I drove it up, drove it all over up there (this car was made for that kind of driving, motoring is it called?) I circumnavigated the lake (Croton Hardy Pond near Newaygo, MI) several times. Took the wife for joy rides and to run errands, kids too. All in all it was great. I've got some things to tweak yet, but it ran well, handled well and mileage is approaching 38!
Sweet car.
I've now had two people who told me it reminds them of Stuart Little's car.
That is pretty Spridget-like, no?
