Man,you do incredible work!
That took me back to the first date I ever had
with my Wife.
We drove thru the Redwoods in my Red AH 100-6.
Sold it for $2100 (I made a quick $800 on it-
- can you believe that?).
Yes...we have one in Gibson City, IL, about 30 minutes north of Champaign. The "Harvest Moon"...open spring through fall with two screens showing a different first-run movie on each. Car clubs get in for a reduced rate.

I like that one too... I guess the 5th date one was a little too graphic... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Not necessarily... just need a line of cars in the back row of the local drive-in.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Are there any of those still left? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Great job! as usual /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
We've got one real drive in left here....It's right down the street from the Saturday "cruise night"....so alot of the cruisers like to catch a movie on the way out...hotrods and muscle cars lined up out onto the street every saturday night. We took the kids once a long time ago(to see Twister...thats how long ago /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif). I'd like to go again this summer.
I always kind of figured opening a drive-in around here might be profitable... but in today's time... way too many pitfalls and liabilities - especially as security goes. I commend those that are still in operation. Last one I knew of was a flea market on the weekends, and a porn theatre during the week.
AWLRIGHT!!! an early TR painting! I love it...
We still have a drive in here (2 screens even!) It had fallen to porn for a long time, but a while back was restored to first run, decent movies.
The thing I've noticed is that people have no manners (or don't know the proper ediquitte) at a drive in anymore.
When one movie lets out before the other at our drive in, you have people turning on thier headlights right into the opposing screen and driving out by driving inbetween the other movie watchers because its a bit quicker to get out that way...
I was really put off the last time I went to the drive in.
Sad.

Drive in Porn? I'm sure THAT would have security issues.
