Am I correct that the price on the Bugeye top is roughly $550 ? I see they also have the clips. I wonder if it just requires seals . Anyone know what the shipping might be ? I'd love a hard top.
Bill
Shipping would be real high, and probably only ships on a boat, which if you could get it shipped into Charleston, would not be too bad of deal to pick up for you. Shipping one of these across country is a nightmare as well, had a buddy who bought a fiberglass bonnet for his racing Bugeye and had to ship it with a auto transporter due to the size of it. My guess is shipping it will be well higher than the asking price of it, but if you really want it, then there ya go, some battles in life are worth the effort.
That’s a John Sprinzel’ front nose, you can purchase them from Andrew @ Sebringsprite.com they are £415.00 which is $635.00 in USD today.
You will have to ship by container to the USA or If Andrew will crate it in a wooden crate it will Cost less to ship to the USA. Once in the USA you should be able to ship buy motor freight. I did Get a standard Bugeye hood shipped by Greyhound. Shipping was $115.00.
These Bonnets are made to order most of the time, so expect to wait a while!!
