Evacu-sump installation questions

I am getting ready to install a crankcase evacuation system in lieu of a traditional breather system on my A-series engine. Does anyone know how far into the exhaust header the fitting should extend? Also does it matter how far from the exhaust port it gets welded in? Should it be below where the long and short branches join?

Which port under #4 exhaust should I use? There are two there... Is there a cap for the valve cover that is airtight, mine has vents in it?

Don't know how far to put it in but just be sure to use a check valve in-line to prevent flame/fire from traveling up into the crankcase (Ford Fairmont straight6 around 1980 had one).

You have to use a check valve to allow the low pressure waves to create a vacuum in the crankcase so no worries there.

It needs to be at the collector or beyond, if your block has the drilling for a mech fuel pump (not all A series engines have these, some are just blank there) you can get a nice baffled aluminum piece from Mini Mani that goes where the mech. fule pump blanking palte goes, that has a NPT tapping in it, this is taking the crankcase pressure directly from the source, and the best place to do it.

Where the heck is this fuel pump mounting block? I have a Carter electric pump and have no idea where the original fuel pump was located..... What if I don't have the drilling for a fuel pump? Is there an alternate location?

There are two plugs in the block under #4 exhaust port, is one of these suitable? Which one?

Any tips on sealing up the dipstick? I was thinking that I could just use a rubber plug like a cork and keep the actual stick in the car for use at gas stations.

Does anyone make an oil filler cap that is unvented? One that will fit onto the stamped steel valve cover? If I must I can get a different valve cover from a V-8 or other car in a junkyard and remove the cap boss from that one and weld it to mine.
