Engine removal again

When I bought my BE the engine had been overhauled in the early 90's with little or no miles since. Well after 1 summer my oil pressure started droping and a knock developed. Therefore I am pulling the engine out today now that I am fully moved into the new house and my garage is organized. I am taking the stock 948 engine up to Hap next week for rebuilding (60 over pistons, kent 256, etc, should be lots more fun). I cant remember when I pulled the engine before restoration if it is easier to disconnect 1 of the engine mounts from the frame and the other from the engine or what. Anyone have any suggestions? seems like it would be easier to detach the drivers side from the motor and leave it attached to the frame since the steering shaft runs right by it.

I don't think pulling it out matters much but putting it back there's a definite procedure, something like attach right mount to motor but loose, left mount to frame and "rotate it" in. I've only done it once in my Midget. FWIW

The WIKI has install tips.

Well got out in the garage this am. Engine came out without any problems. Actually we managed to get the thing out without taking the bonnet off (I didnt want to take it off as I just now have it fitting right). Actually it only took thirty minutes. Left the driver side mount attached to the frame and the passenger out with the engine. As expected when I took the tranny off oil appears to be leaking from the oil pump cover. My ring gear on the flywheel was a bit more chewed up than when I put it on but the old starter bendix (replaced last winter) did foul up and made some scarry sounds.
