Emblem / Badge fastener info needed

I was getting ready to pull the rear emblems off of the GT6 and noticed they're fastened with what looks to be a 'rivet' style fastener, not the spring clip and post style that I'm familiar with. My question is - how do you get these off without destroying the ability to put them back on? I looked at a 'popular' parts catalog and it really doesn't show detail. The original emblems / badges on the back of the car are in good shape (unlike the front) so I don't want to mess them up.
Thanks in advance for your help.

If they are like the ones on the TR4 they are a little metal thingy - sort of a tube with a slit in it - that I was able to pull off the stud of the badge. I am not sure if they were originally pushed on from behind (as mine appeared) or inserted into the hole and the badge stud then inserted into them (would make more sense).

If you need to tug on a badge one way is to slip a strip of plastic under the badge -- a piece of the stuff they use for blister packs is very thin yet quite tough -- lets you tug near the studs w/o damaging the paint surface or prying the badge.

I think the ones for the TR4 were NLA (at least where I checked) and the vendor substituted an unsuitable nylon or plastic part.

For the rear badge and everywhere else (such as the letters across the bonnet) I have used tight fittings pieces of rubber tubing. They hole well yet can be easily removed for waxing (so you don't get that fuunky dull area around the letters when you can't polish right up next to them).

Originally, those fasteners would have been a plastic "friction bush" into which the badge posts simply press in. Often as not, they're reusable if you can get the badge out cleanly (I've actually taken to very carefully using a small drift to gently hammer on the back side if accessible to push out the pins). The bushes are p/n (614006) GHF1532.
