Like most everyone, I'm not reinstalling the pollution stuff. This does however mean that some hoses are going uninstalled. Does anyone have an simple yet elegant solution for plugging these pipes?

Hi there,
If you are talking about the holes left in the cylinder head, there is someone on Ebay selling Allen-headed grub screws.
The ones I got were advertized as brass but they look like steel and stick to a magnet, ha! Not sure if that is a problem but so far OK.
Cheers.

I cut down 7/16" fine thread bolts to about 3/8" 1/2" and put brass washers under to seal them. I'll try to post a picture later.

Here is one of the Ebay auctions for the AIR tube hole plugs.

(AIR is a Ford term, but I mean air pump)

They are just allen head set screws. I have a set in mine. Install with Locktite.

How about 7/16"-NF set screws? flush fit and a cone at the tip for the seal? Steel or brass or even stainless. Easy and clean.

You can buy those allen head screws at any half decent hardware store.

Oops - let me clarify - Those holes are filled - I'm talking water & air - anything other than the air rail - for instance, the pipe that goes from the water pump under the manifold to the heater box has two outlets - I only need one - what to do with the other? Likewise, the intake manifold had a line come in and the carb also.
