How can I tell the difference between the two? Not the frames, only the fabric. My friends early BN4 came with the correct frame, but also a new top in a box with no numbers on it. It just doesn't seem to lie well on the correct top frame. We snapped the top on along the back, positioned the frame, then laid the material up and over the frame, and pulled it forward. It seems short, and, it's hard to explain, but, if we had the wrong material on the right frame, I think this is what it would look like!

The rearmost sewn seam should sit on the rear bar of the top frame and line up with it. Early tops have a seam that is more horizontal and later tops have a seam that points downward toward the turnbuckle by the door top. Someone may want to swap for a correct one if you can identify yours. Good luck, Bob
