Hey All! This is Dave from Michigan. I have a ‘65 Spit that I bought in rough shape for $200 44 years ago-in 1977. During the first 25 years I had it, I managed to use it quite a bit, and ultimately got it in “restored” condition. I used it less as time went by and, in recent years, mostly just stored it.
I have the bug to get it back in good driving shape. Of course, a number of issues have kept up on me/it, that I’m now committed to fixing.
I’ll be checking with you for advice as I go.
Regards, Dave
