Any suggestions as to:
1) Have parts re chromed and cost?
2) Where to buy a tonneau cover and are they all the same?
3) How to repair a wood dash with cracks? Cost?
4) Is it possible to have minor scratches, etc removed from a windshield?
5) Clean spokes?

I am in St. Louis.

sjgcpa,1-depending on the part and level or restoration rechrome might be the way to go since some reproed chrome parts dont fit correctly or are not available, expect to spend some bucks on this not all rechroming outfits are created equal so be selective ask around and find the shop whos work your happy with.2-not all tonneau covers are the same,youll need to find one that fits bj-7/bj-8 models they are the same, look on ebay. 3-dashes can be refinnished, you can buy vaneer replacement kits or an entire new dash.4-i had some small windshield scratches "buffed" out in the past but they were not deep at all,im not sure of the safety factor so check with your local glass guy. 5- spokes ,are yours painted or chrome ? you can clean them up real good and repaint, im not sure having your chrome ones re-chromed would be cost effective,if you buy new chrome ones go with the "daytons" and not the "made in india" ones you wont be disapointed. fwiw. also on ebay, about $1300.00 for a set of four, i bought mine here in ct. localy and got a set of five with new tires for that price so shop around.good luck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

I haven't had to purchase a new top or tonneau, but I've spoken with Heritage and have had people recommend them. I like their approach and the samples they sent, at least check them out. Their website is https://www.heritagetrim.com/
