General TR Correctly Bought

When we vacation, sometimes we'll stop and browse through antique malls/stores. Found this at an antique mall in Kentucky. This was in a booth where "all items 50% off marked price". It was labeled as an "MG Avon Cologne Bottle". For $2, how could I go wrong?

Looks like it need the rear clip installed. I paid $4.00 for mine on ebay.

Whatever you do, don't fill it with liquid. A Triumph doesn't retain fluids well.

Ha! I think I've had at least one of these since they came out (in the 1970s, perhaps?), since my mom was an Avon rep. Think the one still has a: the box, and b: the cologne inside.
