Did anyone on the forum go? I went for the first time, but without the B. For me its 1.5 hours of freeway one way and I just got Mistress B back on the road...

Overall I'd say it was a good show with lots of different marques a few nice MGB an A's. The wife prefer's the A's, TD's and TF's.....someday!

The way the cars were arranged many of owners were not sitting near their vehicles so I only managed to talk to one or two folks. Most had taken refuge under the trees along the side since it was sunny and a bit humid. I'd have done the same.

I like the upcoming show in Waynesboro in October. Its under the trees, very casual and some really nice cars.

I didn't feel like taking many pics, so here's one of a rockin Fiat for your amusement. Part golf cart, part Pope mobile?

On my way to the ..................er gym?

I overheard the owner saying she had it up to 60 mph on a straight away. You could get a severe tassle whipping at those speeds!

I made it, with out my spridget (on jack-stands /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif ) Lots of nice cars, 2 MGCGTs, good stuff.

Don - I'm sure you saw the nice Bugeyes with the rolling restoration Bugeye in the midst of them. It was a nice contrast. I'm not sure which I like best: the ones in high gloss or the war horses in full primer shouting "I am driven!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Heck, I'd take any of them!

Yes I did!!! Actually voted for the MOFI "Rustin" Healey...the owner had a great attitude. The 2 Midgets were both RWA. Nice cars.
