Child Tether Restraint System

I have a 91 XJS convert that needs the above, does this car already have anchors for this system? And is it available at a Jag Dealer ?

Forgive my ignorance here, but isn't the XJS convertible a 2-seater only? With airbags? If so, DO NOT PUT YOUR KID IN IT. Airbags are completely unsafe for anyone under about 5-2 or so.

Anyway, to answer your question, the tethers didn't come into place until sometime in this century. 2002, I think, but I'm not sure. Don't know if they could be retrofitted.

Nope. But the rear seats are made for 1. Kids, or 2. Adults with no legs

The car is 91 XJS Convert, Classic Collection and does not have a rear seat, only a locking storage compartment. I am importing it into Canada and they say I must have Child Tether System.
I don`t understand it either.

Hmm, learn somthing every day! I'd suggest that you contact a Jag dealer and ask if such can be retrofitted.

A "child tether system"? How about a very short leash wrapped around the gearshift?

The Devil made me do that!
