Just put new carpet in and didn't want to get stuff in the car. It's kept under a pole shed so things will blow in it from time to time not to mention dust. I don't have the soft top on it yet and I hate to keep putting the hard top on it just for overnight or a little while durring the day.
I go inside to find something to cover it. I figure a sheet will do and grab the first one I come to. Once I get it ouotside, I realize it's a queen size matress sheet w/ the elastic corners. It fits over the the windshield and cockpit PERFECTLY !!! The elastic corners go over the mirrors and windshield and the back corners over the RBers.
The cool thing is we've had a little bit of wind here latley and it stayed on the car. It's not weatherproof, but'll keep dust and leaves out of your car while in the garage. Carefull to close the vent windows as mine have sharp edges and cut my sheet. If you're missing the rubber corners off of the back of the vent window it's sharp there as well.
It goesn on and off in seconds.
Try it next time you need a quick coverup and don't want the "top up" or tonneau hassle.
