I guess Cars&Coffee had a little lighter crowd because it was threatening to rain today. At least there was a strong British contingent taking the lead in the front lot.

I like morgans... But the aero 8 has always looked a little cross-eyed to me. Looks like you had a nice well-rounded showing there though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

...and I see that Lotus grinnin'...

I still haven't found a cheap one of those yet doc. Still wanting one, but 10-15K is my limit... and I don't want to have to repace the front and rear body panels.

Right now, I'm ordering parts for my Alfa... maybe I should stick with that for a while huh? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It's just a matter of time. Get the Alfa straightened out and enjoy th' ride. Some poser will prang his clamshell car and it'll be cheap to acquire... then all ya gotta do is learn the techniques to glue it back together.

I already know the techs... I had to fix my sailboat once. and before that I made custom fit snot-glass speaker enclosures for several friends cars.

I like the chrome orange elise too. The Tiger has an unusually clean engine bay.. very nice.

"Tiger, tiger...

burning bright..."

There was a severely pranged Elise on ebay. It was still pricey esp. in the condition it was in! Definitly misplaced headlights on the Mog!

Dang it. Wish I knew about it and I would of changed my travel plans a bit and brought the B out. Rain better dissapear as the B is getting a italian tune up up angelest crest tomarrow.

Anybody else notice that the Tiger has a paxton?? Yow!!

One of the Healey guys put out an email last week announcing plans to show up at the event, but 6:30 a.m. was just too early for me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

They sure have plenty of reason to be happy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Here are a few more. The maroon car in front is a Noble.

[/ QUOTE ]Looks kind’a like in the photo but it’s an EFI motor. The gizmo on the front right on the air duct is a mass flow sensor.

…. I was one of those that stayed home because of the rain. ….

[/ QUOTE ]I chickened out too, didn’t drive the Jensen. Irvine looks dry in the pix but I got rained on pretty good while leaving the house.

Here’s a Rolls that was parked across the street. Don’t know why the guy didn’t bring her on in.

As you came up into the parking lot the volunteers were handing out flyers asking people not to do burnouts when leaving the parking lot. Both the property owners and the Irvine PD have expressed concern over the exuberance displayed by a small minority of drivers.

Well, apparently there was one gentleman with a Maranello who, having not yet been handed the flyer, planted that perfectly round donut you see in front of the Rolls. I’d like to have seen the expression on his face as the volunteer handed him his flyer not 50 feet later.
