Carpets

Hello everyone. I just picked up my seats from my favorite MG shop. Had them rebuilt using all Moss parts with the deluxe leather covers. They turned out beautiful. I also installed the new Moss leather panel kit. Again, beautiful.

Now for the question.
Now that just about everything is rebuilt or replaced in the interior of my '80 B, I'm not happy with the carpet that was in the car when i bought it 3+ years ago. The fit is especially bad over the tunnel.

I'm looking for opinions and recommendations for the replacement carpet. Is the Moss original carpet kit the way to go? The interior is black.

Thanks for the help once again.

I put in a deluxe carpet kit from Proper MG that has the molded tran tunnel and it is a great fit and looks great

I went with prestige and they have a great kit. But the tranny tunnel is not moulded, but I didn't have problems working with it. The Tranny cover, floor mats and rear deck cover all have a nice think backing that helps with heat and noise. My entire interior is from them. They have great prices too. I did the leather seats too and love them. I will try to attach a photo.

To Mr. Moore's point, after doing a couple of MGB interiors, I'm not sure there's much advantage to the moulded tunnel piece. If I do another interior, I will not use the moulded tunnel kit becuase I feel I could get it to fit better myself.
