That's right. Busted clean in two. There was an ugly weld on there courtesy of the previous owner, so clearly this is not the first time that it has happend.
It is probably due to the car bottoming out over speed bumps. Austin is one speed bump happy town. There's probably an average of one speedbump every 2ft. in every parking lot in town. Considering that 96.478% of the population drives SUV's and Trucks, they're real effective too.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, did you come up with any clever solutions?
