Bugeye Tonneau

I think I've asked before but does anyone have a Bugeye tonneau, short, long, new, used or just old that they would sell a fellow member? I can't pay what Moss wants for their's, it's just ridiculously expensive and my wife won't stand for it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Thanks!

Bet Tony does not have one.

It doesn't appear to fit well based on the photos he has on ebay.

Jeff @ LBCarCo has the cheap ones listed at $192.

I'm going to guess that a Moss distributor would want about $210 for the Moss version. Tony would know. However, I'm going to guess that a local upholstery shop could do it for about $150-175 and you'd have a better choice of material.

But most of this is speculation.

Ben, I don't want to hijack this thread, but you mentioned previous experience with the ebay guy. Has anyone bought the seat upholstery kit from him for $180? He has gotten good feedback on them and when I contacted him, he says he has not had complaints. I am tempted.

I think I remember someone talking about his upholstery sets awhile back. Can't remember their thoughts, however, I believe they preferred the Moss kits. I went with the Moss kits through Tony and he saved me a huge amount of money! I am VERY happy with the way the seats turned out.

I've used the Moss kits and they are great. Just looking to save a few bucks on a driver. You should see my 23 year old
JC Whitney covers with the heat welded seams. Anything has to be better than those!

Steve,

His kits are in my car. BUT I had to spend another $125 to get them 'fixed'. I have complained to him and he told me to ship them back so he could fix them. My thoughts were that if he could fix them they should have been right to begin with.

The vinyl isn't as good as the Moss kit but they look good in my car.... Now.....

My .02 cents.

Several months ago this question was asked about soft tops and there was a vender in the UK that was more than reasonable for tops. I've lost him on my favorites list. I think he also sold toneaus.
