Brake Servo Cylinder Stop Pin needed

In the dark recesses of my pea brane there's a passing thought... needle bearing (like from a transmission layshaft)?

I'd be finding something close in diameter and make a mock-up then head to a bearing house. IIRC those pins were hardened so a needle bearing of correct diameter would work as a replacement. Length would be a lesser issue, longer than needed can be ground off.

...just a thought.

That will be a last resort. But I'd rather have the real deal if at all possible.

Agree. But if one doesn't show up, it ain't likely to be a point loser. :jester:

Hydroboost is good folks.
They do NOT do credit cards, which makes it a bummer.

I had my PBR booster rebuilt there.

These pics are pretty short so I don't think that will be an issue and they don't really carry a huge load.

"Stainless" comes in all sorts of grades and hardness. Bolts/nuts aren't made from soft material. Stock the same diameter as that little PIN just may be.

This is actually a fair catalogue of the different carbon and alloy HERE.

Well, like I said, the load on this little pin isn't tremendous. It limits the travel of a piston when the brake system is "off" and the piston is only being pushed by a return spring inside the cylinder bore, so I doubt that hardness is going to be a big issue.
