MGB Boat Battery Charger For The MGB???

Looking through the catalogs and ran onto the battery chargers for boats. From what I can tell, they charge and maintain the battery or batteries of your boat. Can get various amps and they come in single and multiply banks. Was wondering if a single bank charger would be a good thing to have the MGB on this winter? Thoughts? Anybody doing and or tried this?

You can get battery tender for about $30 that will just maintain your batteries during storage. Most autoparts carry them.

But, I'm looking for a charging system that can sense several bateries at once & charge whichever needs it

I believe boat batteries are thet deep cycle type and not the same as a car battery in the way they are charged. Advanced Auo Parts has a nice battery charger that will do both and maintain the charge on your battery. It has an auto cycle that just gives it enough to keep it charged after giving it a full charge. I believe it is less than fifty dollars and may even be $39.

To get back to my question...I have a single bank charger on the boat now and want to get one with two banks. Was wondering about the deep cycle aspect of the marine battery and will that prevent me from using the single bank on the MGB? Any battery gurus out there that can help me out?
