Bleeding slave cylinder on BJ 8

It's difficult and a pain no matter how you do it. Removing the fiberglass gearbox cover and all that goes with that is not my favorite job, but at least it allows access to the bleeder. Not removing the cover means getting under the car and removing the two attach bolts for the slave. The upper one is a real nightmare.
I just went through this a couple months ago after rebuilding the brake and clutch masters. While I had the slave hanging down under the car, I decided to order one of Doug Reid's slave bleeder extensions. This allows bleeding the slave from the engine bay. I believe it was about 40 bucks with shipping. A friend and I once bled his clutch by the side of the road in about 5 minutes with his extension. Does anyone have a good way to o this. The older I get the harder it is to get to it!
thanks

Yes, I hated this too. My solution was to cut a hole in the footwell side panel to gain access that will accept the same rubber plug as used for the transmission cover.
I did it during my restoration but you could probably do it with a jig saw once you pull up the carpet. I am installing a carpet piece over the plug with snaps to gain access when needed.
Can send a pic if you need one.
