BJ8 top dash pad removal

Hi Gang, I hope everyone is doing well. I was wondering if someone could give me a procedure on how to remove the dash pad on my 65. As we all find out, I think it would be better to ask now if there are any hidden fasteners than finding out later. As always, I appreciate your help

Unscrew the two mirror screws and remove the mirror. At both ends of the wooden top, look underneath. You should see a bent over metal tab exiting the wooden top, pressed up against the bottom of the dash. Unbend it and you should be able to remove the dash top.

With mine, I removed the mirror (which were the only screws holding it down). There are several tabs along the leading edge that are bent around the edge of the metal underneath--just bend those down. The dash top is glued down to the metal, so carefully pry it up. It should pop off.

Mine had a light adhesive. It came right off, though.

My comment was for those who may be restoring a Healey and questions if it gets glued or not.
Anyone confirm, glued or not glued?

Nope it never was a factory practice.
