BJ8 camshaft Duration and Lift question

Our camshaft is at Comp Cams in Memphis. They are going to regrind it to my specifiction for $100. No welding is neccesary.

What was the next step up in camshafts for the BJ8? I've read something like a 260 or 268 was offered. Any help on determining this? If you have this information what was the associated lift with that duration.

Thanks! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

We decided we'll stick with the stock 252 duration and .368 lift. We are also having the cam hardness tested and the new lifters tested once they come in.

Thanks

Don't forget to rebush your rocker arms if they have some age. It is not expensive and will give you the full benefit of the lift.
