BJ& front fender/door seal. Is there one?

On the edge of my front fender, from top to bottom along the outside line of the hinge piller there are a series of holes drilled in the fender flange. I wonder if there was a seal that connected to the fender to seal that edge of the door/fender, other than the one that runs down each door and along the sill trim plate. I have seen a scuttle seal for them up to the BT7 but no reference for the bj 7.

Any info would be appreciated.

Robert

Nope, there was no seal at that location requiring screw attachment. If the fender is off the car those holes are probably used to attach the fender to the A post---Keoke-?

The seals that run down along the outside edges of the winshield frame take an almost 90 degree turn outwards and are then fastened to the " back edge " of the front fenders. They don't go all the way down the edge, just to about where the upper hinge height is. .... There are holes along this edge so you could pop rivet the seal to the fender edge to keep it in place.
