Bill Cosby on Leno

That brought back memories of the routine about the Cobra that he did on one of his albums. I don't remember hearing about the TC though.
Thanks,
Jeff

I had heard of that clip, but never seen it yet... That's great viewing!

The man is truly incredible!

Magnificent! He is beyond question the master, an object lesson to the current crop of comedians as to how you can be hilarious and "clean" at the same time. Nobody has Cosby's timing! Good subject matter, delivery, timing.

Superb!

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Still Laughing!!! Great clip.

His original "Cobra" routine is a classic. Wish I still had a copy of THAT!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

good stuff

We had the pleasure of seeing Bill live when We were stationed in Gt Falls, MT back in the 70s! He did his "At the Dentist" routine and has Skiing routine among others! What a performer!

That was pretty funny though I thought he carried it on a bit too long.

I had seen Jay at the Supercar Sunday car meet (he brought the Tank Car) here in the LA area the day before and he was telling us he had planned on asking Cosby about the Cobra.

I remember reading the Road & Track article about that Cobra when it was built in '67 or '68. It was one of the last two Cobras built. The other went to Carroll Shelby. They had 427s with twin turbochargers, if I recall correctly. I have some R & Ts from '67 and '68, so I'll try to find that article.

We saw the Coz "in concert" a couple of years ago at the University of Illinois....good show, that's for sure!

As I recall, the one with the automatic had a 428, which actually was a bit "tamer" engine than the 427s, but then it had twin turbos added as well!!!

Excellent.

I have the record with his original Cobra bit. It's still hilarious!

I spoke with Jay Leno this afternoon. He was driving his Ariel Atom and stopped to check out our MGs and chat. Not kidding.
