OK, finally got a few minutes last Saturday to work on my '69 MKIV and finish the engine-Rivergate work.
Had to replace the oil pressure high pressure hose, as the original one was done for. As normal, original hose is no longer produced and the one that I got from Moss was much smaller and not reinforced, like the original braided one. Original clamps didn't work (too large). I was told by a local Brit repair shop that they have found that zip ties work as good as clamps for this line. Anyone want to offer their opinion here? I used zips, but can always replace.
Found that in the 8 month layoff, since the last time I got to work on the car, I had misplaced, lost, tossed, etc. some parts I needed. I have paid the penalty for this and ordered what I think I need from Moss, but they don't show the 4 bolts that hold the radiator into the shroud. Can someone give me the specs for these bolts? They have to be really stubby things, so they don't screw up the radiator (my assumption).
Hopefully will be able to use a couple of days of vacation next week and get the engine fired up and running, after about 1.5 years...

Will post a couple of pictures as soon as I figure out how...
