Well, the car broker bs'ed me. He hasn't actually bought that BN2, and he doesn't know if he's going to get it, because it might not be for sale...yadda yadda yadda.

So if anyone knows of a good driving, rust-free, good looking (presents well) 100-4 (either BN1 or BN2) please let me know. My brother and I plan to have one sitting outside the place we're having my dad's 70th birthday party on April 1st with a big bow around it.

Our other option is a MGA, but both of us would prefer to spend a little more to get a 100. I like MGAs, but in my family we all like the 100 more.

So any leads would be much appreciated.

Feel free to email me directly at sbarer@apexstrategy.com.

Thanks!
Sam

I know a car here on the east coast, which has been owned by the same fella for over 30 yrs, he is detailing it to sell later in the year. I mentioned to him your interest as a present for your father. His response was, he did not think you would be willing to spend what he wants for the car as a present. I know the car and it is a show winner, when shown. You would not have to do a thing to the car, except turnover the $$$$.
Good luck with the search, contact me privately if you want to follow up

There's a guy in LaHabra California (near LA) that has a BN2 for sale. It's a dark BRG, tan interior, chrome wires etc. The dash wasn't installed when I saw it, he claims it has been completely restored. He said 32k when I asked him what he wanted. I don't know him at all, just passing this along. His name is Phil Newey, phone 562-860-1660. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gifRoy
