Anybody use these plugs?

Sounds like a rip-off of those old Split Fire plugs or whatever they were called. They didn't make it either. Personally I'd save my money.

That was what I was thinking. If the technology is sound, it will be around and as more go to it, the price will drop.

I finally found some more info at Denso, and they recommend a 30,000 mile service interval. The Bosch Platinum plugs I bought for the Escort (for much less) go for 100,000.

No thanks, Denso. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

NGK makes an iridium as well, but seems to be a similar story.

It's not "bogus" technology.Late model Toyotas come with those stock. Beautiful, long wearing plugs, without fail will make 60k easy. But I'm not sure if there's much (if any)advantage in an MGB. I think they only hold advantage in an engine that the plugs are inaccessable, you don't want to change very often, and has a computer contorlled Fuel/ ignition system.
I can say they are the only plugs I'd reccomend in the late model Toyotas. It seems we have trouble whenever someone has swapped them out for somthing else.(I work at a dealer)
These modern computers are very picky, and those are what they were designed to use.
I'd go with the previous advice with an LBC. Those guys are right.
