Just bought another project. AM I CRAZY OR NOT? Got it for $500. 70 MGB. It's all original, but it's in pretty sad shape. Pic enclosed. It does have an aluminum hood which needs some work in the front. Got to fine a sheet metal guy good with aluminum, to iron it out without using any filler. I wouldn't attempt to do it myself. Good engine and tranny. Oh well, at least I set myself up for a couple years of skined knuckles, cut fingers, etc, etc. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif Don't you just love these little British cars! ?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif PJ

I guess I should have showed a pic of the tractor, a restored 1955 Ford Jubilee.
The car has possiblities, it's just my sanity is being tested for getting into another project like this.
I couldn't believe how many improvements were made in the dash area of my 72 over the 70. The wife already claimed the 72. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif Said the blue one was mine! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif I wonder why? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif PJ

Cool Triumph (er....tractor)....I have a 1954 Jubilee.

What size tires on on those wires on the MGB?! Looks like the right front is about ready to pop off!

The tires are 185/70/R14s. I had to take a double look myself when I picked up the car. They are goofy looking. The car will get new wheels and 165 Vredestein tires when compleated. It needs a right hand door, which I have two, a hood and left front fender. The right door is locked in so tight, I might have to cut it to get it to release. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif PJ

Got it running yesterday. Does it sound great! Temp, hot at idle, (900 RPMs),50 lbs oil pressure. I had to clean the crud out of the carbs, HS4s, before starting. No wonder everyone says how easy these SUs are to work on, they never worked on HIFs! The HS4s are a breeze! Can even change the floats and needle valves without pulling the carbs. Cool!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif PJ

Royal Blue,David, or Blue Royal by it's official title, is what it's going to be. It's the original color and I would like to keep that way. It's interior was black and that will be restored to original also. I saw one the other day in those colors. Very dark looking car.Good night time car if you want to dissapear. Just turn the lights off. Nobody can find you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif PJ
