Am I sick or insane?

For whatever the reason,
Maybe a moment of insanity or saviour
Got a call today from a neighbor,
said he was standing next to a
1958 Fiat 600, and if it did not
get sold today, it was going to the
wrecking yard to be crushed.

I went over, took a look at it, I think it was the
suicide doors that sold me, and I bought it.
$75 was all that was involved, black Ca plates
not registered since 1984.

I am still reeling form the ordeal
I had a vision of a small block chevy in it.

Yeehaa - ya did the right thing!

If I had found it, I'd do what I could to bring it back to originality. (And if you decide you don't like the 600, just ship it my way.)

I'd love a Fiat 600. Good save!
I'm going insane too. I'm planning on dragging home a VW type 3 fastback tomorrow.

A buddy of mine in high school who was one of those guys born to drive got ahold of one of those and impressed us all with what he could do with it on mountain roads. I can well understand why you would bring one home. My pal now lives in Kona, Hawaii and has a 4 wheel drive Porsche to throw around. That boy can drive.

YUP!!

Yer NUTS, Dave. :jester:

I know of a palleted 1300 Fiat T/C and an automatic tranny for sale... Too bad the 600 isn't set up for a "standard" driveline. That combo would raise some eyebrows. And some particular Hades as well.

I seem to be very good for the neighborhood.

I had this old timer come walkig up
to me as I was cleaning my truck.

He said "I always walk around the block
just to see what you might have in your
driveway, you can never tell,
but its always interesting"

At least I am helping him get his
excercise.

SOLD!!!!
Pulled it off Ebay.
This really cute little
rat rod type Betty Page
looking little blonde
came over and bought it.

Everybody is happy,
happy with the price,
limited time in my driveway.

Making room for more.
Like the 78 mg I aquired last night.
