I was looking at my dash this morning. Always seem to find something to do don't I?

Seems I have a hole for an extra insturment, a cig lighter, and several switches as well. Also a cut out for a smallish radio or something. Oh, duh, thats for my clock, yep gona have one for sure, they neat. Guess the lighter hole could be a power tap, bet I can find a black cover at Pep boys or J C Whitney. Think the small switch holes, two, will cover over just fine.

Keeping my eye out for a radio, the one in my orginial did not even have push buttons and the speaker was built into the bottom of the radio. Supose anyone makes new ones with old fronts from the 50s' 60's? That would be a fine way to go.

Oh what started this was I have all the cockpit alum polished now. Was looking at windsheld suround. Guess that is going to have to be done professionally for sure as I don't think I can polish that with my equip. Darn it has a new rubber and glass in it too. Not a mark on the glass, but the alum suround is scratched all over, must have been in a sand storm. Darn shame new alum surounds are not available or I would consider that route.

Orig, Bugeye shows Radiomobile Radio Models X20, 22X, and 230R.

Wonder where those went. I surely never had one.

One of mine was made by Phillips. It has pushbuttons, two for FM, and 3 for AM. Or vice versa. Can't remember which way it goes, and I'm too tired to go out and look on the shelf in the garage.
Sad, ain't it!
