Neat!

That is one very fast Austin Healey. He had a great scrap with the 911 at the end.
And wow! 7200 RPM!
Some of the cars are similar to the cars I race with in vintage events here in the US, but we never see Renault Alpines racing.
Zolder reminds me of Watkins Glen with all the fencing and limited runoff area in some parts. It looks a bit shorter than Watkins Glen too. I like the chicanes (I know some people do not like them).

The Triumph vid was good too. It's interesting to see you flicking the overdrive "on and off" in the race. I have never raced a car with overdrive. Looks handy.
Neat to see the pits too....a lot like our's. I spotted an early Ford Mustang (around '66) on a trailer...probably not too common over there.

This is a grainy video from my Sprite in Oct '06 at a vintage race.

This video (also from my Sprite) in a regular (non-vintage) club race in Novemeber '06. Also poor quality, but you get the idea.

You do have lot's of passes...excellent!
I like the banked corner at Shenandoah. It looks very similar to me like the Karussell on the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The orange AH 3000 is a very fast one and he runs his car without muffler.
People race some US cars in Europe. The most favorite ones are the Corvettes, Ford Falcons and Mustangs.

At Zolder I had some overheating trouble. It turned out to be a leaking head gasket. So I retired from race after a few laps.

I still do use an overdrive but have changed the switch location to the left spoke of the steering so I can shift with the gear lever and the OD at the same time. Some races at year 2005 I have run with a normal 4-speed gearbox because my OD box did fail and I had no parts to repair.

For 2006 I have build up a real racing engine and the car became a lot faster....if you like to watch videos...have a look:

That's a great list of vids....really like the TR4 and the SportsPrototype

And, yes, the Karosell at Shenadoah is designed to be a replica of the Karussell at Nurburgring.

Bill Scott (the track owner) wanted his circuit to have this type of turn after he drove at the German track.
The vintage racers like it....the regular "club racers" do not, since it is impossible to pass on.

Ohh really?

Non of the modern racers who are racing on the Nordschleife would allow to remove the Karussell. It is like the holy grale to them. https://www.myvideo.de/watch/698172

For anyone interested there is a huge event taking place at the SVRA Road America race in May pitting Triumphs vs. Healeys vs. Morgans. They're calling it the MOTRAH. It's going to be a heck of a happening.

Also that series was the basis for one of the finest racing simulators, GT Legends. Most of the cars seen in that Healey video are in the game along with most of the tracks. Thanks to modders there are some great US tracks that can be downloaded for the games as well as cars painted up to match famous cars that ran over here.
