A different Fuel pump question

Gentlemen - A client of mine is looking for adapters for a AZX 1300 series fuel pump inlet/outlet ports. The adapter he needs (wants) is the same as what is sometimes used on the LCS pumps used on the Big Healeys (the square body puumps), that converts the 3/8 BSP female thread of the ports to a 1/4 BSP male thread that accepts the fuel line compression fittings See picture below. Does anybody know where adapters like this can be found?

On a different note, I noticed a couple of questions posted regarding fuel delivery problems. For a fuel delivery troubleshooting guide, see my article on hte subject at: https://www.svmgcc.org/tech_tips/fuel_delivery.htm
Cheers,

Hi Dave , I think an alternative approach is to use Banjo fitting # AUC 1833 and Bolt # AUC 2698. These were used on Fuel Pump Type AUA 173 and possibly AUF 301 later. However, I do not know why he has that type fitting if he has an AZX 1300 pump--Fwiw--Keoke-?

Keoke - The client has a couple of banjo fittings and the bolts, but the fittings are the barb type (removed from some older flex lines I guess). He is convinced that he needs the type of adapter that I have pictured (which interestingly came on an AZX 1300 series pump that another client sent me - the second client has a Healey). I think that I may have the first client coming around to using the banjo fitting that you quote above.
Cheers,

Well Dave, if he uses the fittings that I quoted above his fuel lines will require Female fittings to to fit up. I would suggest using the barb type Banjo and rubber interface lines with clamps. If he has a current AZX1300 pump it will contain "O" rings at the banjo interface. This modification leaves a small machined ring on the outside of the fuel boss that can be easily damaged. This occurs because of the thin lip and the fact that the fuel boss is shorter than the ones on the old original pumps. Consequently, the fuel lines bind on the pump body tilting the banjo and producing a leak. If the banjo is tightened up attempting to stop the leak it can crush the thin ring or strip the boss's threads. Therefore , for this case I suggest; use the banjo with barbs and the hose, retain the "O" rings and also add the paper washers as standard too. Then connect a grounding conductor from the fuel tank sender's case to chassis ground.---Fwiw--Keoke
