A while back I picked up a pretty nice XJ-6. paint was oxidized, tires weak and had one dent below left rear bumper by muffler. Has 107k miles and the tan leather...and complete interior...is perfect. Runs and drives like a dream. No fault lites whatsoever and everything works. Covered and left it sit. This past week-end my son offered to come to the shop and attack it. It now is inside and in the process of being stripped and prepped for paint. Fender is fixed and being sanded. Have no use for the car but hate to see it looking so poorly. No leaks or noises...even the a/c works. The electrics are perfect. I hope to find someone who is willing to trade for a decent pick-up when its completed.
