Just got hit by a big fast moving storm. 1-3 feet in parts of the mountains. We were predicted to get 1-3 inches. We actually got 8.5" while Denver got 4. (see, sometimes we do get snow in Fort Collins /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif). Streets were horribly slick last night. Supposed to get wicked cold tonight too. probably see zero or lower. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If it gets recharged from the gulf then some of you midwesterners and easterners might be getting a good smack too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Gonna be a high of 38-40 here friday... was 70 today and will be tomorrow.... I prefer it just stay 70.
 
Well, for a change we had about 60 degrees today and expected almost 70 tomorrow!!! We've usually moved about 10" or so, by this time, we've been pretty lucky!!!
 
Send it all to Utah - I wanna go snowboarding in a coupla weeks...
 
Was gonna chime in, but Dar100s weather is pretty much the same as mine.. We only saw low 60s today, but other than that....... It was a DOD! hehehe (see "acronyms" post)

Because of our normal weahter, I put the 3000 on jack stands about a month ago and started taking things apart for a good sorting out, changing the brake fluid, clutch master cylender, etc...I wanna cry over all this good weather!

I caution y'all. There's 200 pics in there.
 
We're expecting over 1/4" of ice tomorrow afternoon/night....then the 8"-12" to follow.

Hopefully, the forecast will be wrong.

But...

I've got the snow blade on the tractor, the snow blower filled with gas (and test started), and the same with the generator (we live in the country). Only thing I didn't get done was to put up the snow fence.

The Nissan 300ZX went into official hibernation today (all insurance gone except comprehensive)...MGs tucked away in the barn....both 4x4's are gassed up and ready to go.
And there's beer in the fridge.

Bring it on, Mother Nature.

I wouldn't ask so much of Mother Nature, Rick. Somtimes she answers in threefold.
