I know you were just kidding with that...hehehehe...but I hope we're not really gonna start that over here! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
looks great! Should have posted a disclaimer though. I think I cut meself on the pics. I didn't realize the car was so sharp until it was too late... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
Also notice the hood is missing that dent I had. Fellow club member had this in the rafters of his shed for about 20 yrs he said. When he saw my car... "hey I've got one of those. Might even be the right color" I took it home polished it up and bingo! about a 98% match. Not perfect but darn nice for an aluminum hood. Still has some chalk or crayon marks under it which might be from the factory. Wish I new if these are from the factory or not.
Yes...they really are installed backwards....although it seems that the lensed *should* be run a tru horizontal, they actually "pierce" the airstream as a "v". This makes the light somewhat visible from a side angle.
Really no big deal one way or the other...in my opinion.
Yes, for real they are on backwards. The running lamps go to the outside so they can be seen from all angles. THe turn lamps go to the inside and have reflectors that direct the light outward. If you have the assemblies on backwards, all lamps will be difficult to see properly. They also look funny, like tiny plastic bumpers! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Nice score on the aluminum bonnet. I wish I were so lucky!!!
I'm so ashamed. Can someone please photshop that back to normal. Now I gotta go outside & swap them around take new pics re-post sheese, just shoot me now. THAT'S IT! I'm giving it away.
