Hi
I bought one from moss and it does not line up with the hole in the side of the door. My 58 did not have a knob on it. Just a smooth lever. Is there a difference? Car is at paint shop so I can not compair

My '58 did not have the original doors, but it did have the original latches. Therefore I would assume that they are the same dimensions. How far off is it?

I know NOS locators sells latches. Claims they fit better. You might try them.

Three Rivers, CA my grandmother hailed from there.

As a matter of fact she was and became Blanche DuBois after she married my Grandfather.

And BTW, the PO for Bugsy II bought him when he was a Dental school student in Montreal back in early '80s. I dragged Bugsy II home from Close to Burlington a year ago this month.

Well since she passed away before then you would not have known her and she left TR circa 1920 - 21 when she was recruited by my Grandfather to teach in a one room schoolhouse in British Columbia . She travelled by horseback to school. Shortly thereafter my Grandfather took a role as a machinist machanical engineer in Woburn, MA.
