I took Blue Bonnet to Montana, its new home, last week.
The weather was extremely hot, 105 in many places. The car ran without a hitch. Used one quart of oil on the trip. Engine temp indicated usually between 190 and 200. Hung around 220 for about 100 miles heading up Columbia River with that 30mph tail wind and 100+ ambient temp.

On the way I briefly joined Healey Rendezvous in Klamath Falls. They were surprised to see me on Thursday. They bought me a beer, chatted a while, and then I hit the road again. Great People!

Also, I stopped in Orofino, Idaho. Their annual Show and Shine was going on. I registered and won the award for the farthest distance travelled to their show. It was a great trip!

Wow, I'm blown away. I get tense just asking my LBC to get me to work in the mornings...lol... Looks like you've got a keeper. Congratulations...sounds like a wonderful trip.

Sounds like a nice trip. I'm always amazed at how many people in my Brit Car club are hesitant to travel over 60 miles in their cars. Personally, I love the sense of adventure of driving a "primitive" car on a long journey. It is a real motoring experience (unlike modern cars). Did you have any problems (other than the heat)? Did you wear ear plugs?
