I have a spare. I got luck lucky and got two for 1 when I purchased the one for my '74. It needs full restoration but all the parts are there and I have your journal to follow on restoration.

I'll be adding a few more photos to it soon - the OEW is on & buffed out...now, we begin replacing windows, weatherstripping, etc.

Have you got a pic of the area where the rocker panel meets the dog leg? I have seen several original early cars with a lead seam there. Both my 63s are like that. One is 84xx and the other is 122xx. Both are iris blue cars. I had a original california 63 that also had the lead seam and it was in the 7xxx serial number range. Bob

Also the windshield frame on very early cars had a different bottom channel with the upper rubber lip exposed. That was ended very early in production but my later 63 has that odd frame. What is on yours? bob

Upper rubber lip is exposed and the seam between the rocker and dogleg is visible. Not pretty, but visible.

It should be visible even if its leaded....I've seen several that way.

Very nice! I'm a real fan of Iris Blue, just a classy color and more rare these days (as it's not green, white, or red).

I polished a portion of the door and the color does shine up still. The grille was un-riveted for fog lights so I'll need to source out 10 slats when I'm ready. The alternator has to go and the genny has to be brought back to factory. Carbs are not original so I'm sourcing them out to.

What else.....Lug wrench, I'll need a pic of an original to see if I have one. Jag and bag are still there and clean. The doors are amazing with no rust at all and no sagging in the hinges. Steering wheel is cheezy. Carpets are nor original so off to source those. Waist rails were recovered and I think even though the interior is blue, they should be black with iris piping. (I think) Still studying her.

What was used over the tunnel? The original floor mats (blue) and sill covers are still in place.

Prestige make a very close match to the color as well as the actual look. Dont pay extra for the sewn in underlayment as it is impossible to work with.
