1960TriumphTR3A This Triumph TR3 has recently had professional body work and painting completed. Dark pearlescent blue with tan interior. The TR3 comes equipped with a four speed manual transmission, dual carburetors, soft top frame, side curtains, tonneau cover, rear luggage rack, and many extra parts. The engine and the transmission run smooth and the brakes are good. A mechanically sound well-priced British classic. Contact greg.wanamaker@yahoo.com or call 203-685-2516.

Serious inquiries only.

I must say..... I have never seen a vin plate like this one.
To me.... does not seem at all laid out as original.
Just my thoughts

Greg.... in looking at the photos of the TR....some thoughts....
You open your offering by stating the car is a extremely “original” TR3.
For the majority of buyers I know who are looking for a restored car
it starts with the paint being a original TR3 color from back in the day.
We are unable to really tell the quality of the body work from the images.
It may be very good...but most often you will loose some potential buyers
with the chosen paint color. The engine bay not being body color also hurts.
For buyers seeking a original car....things like the small gauge dash and
incorrect gauges will hurt you.
I hope these observations help understanding of what TR3 buyers are
usually looking for.
you may very well have a good running car.... and a great deal of time
and investment here.
Wish you well

Gil, I edited some of your points in my description. I did review the original color schemes attached but trying to find color formulas for these
was difficult! So I Went with something I liked.

Greg I read your edited posting.
Previously I should have added to my comments.... I am a believer in
your money.... your car.... do as you wish. But in following the market
for these cars... things non original often hurts the resale value.
I am sure there is a buyer out there that would be very pleased with
the blue you have chosen. I do not do Facebook.... but am told
by some this also reaches a large audience,
wish you well
