he mentions in the ad " Possible Vintage" hinting that one could possibly vintage race the car, and that would be a big fat "NO", once he changed the engine type, and put fender flares on it he pretty much decided the fate of that car, and it's not vintage, it might could go SCCA, but there again the tranny tunnel seem to be altered, the cage is not up to SCCA specs, it could be just a cover on the trnnay tunnel, but if the orginal tranny tunnel is gone, then going SCCA racing with it would be not possible either.


With that being said, it looks like a nice car, and would fun to autocross in the Mod class. Donn, yes I wondered too why no engine bay pics as well.

Pretty sweet looking car, but as Hap said, it's not anywhere near vintage legal, nor SCCA club racing legal. About the only places you could run something like this are in D-Mod autocross (where it will be uncompetitive, since you can use an engine up to 2000cc, if I remember correctly), or in a run-what-you-brung road racing group. It's nicely executed, but I'm not so sure about the thought process that went into it.
