Haven't posted in ages but still working on my preservation project off and on. I removed the passenger door panel and found this attached. I'm assuming the POE is Port of entry but have no idea what the EOH charge is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
JD

According to Heritage Certificate it's a 65, titled as a 67. I haven't even attempted to get that corrected.

JD - I'd think the Certificate showing 1965 manufacture, would take priority to an owner or potential buyer, over a DMV car registration data record. USA data records for non-USA cards are often just guesses by the DMV clerk at the computer.

When I bought a 1967 Sports (Herald) 1200 convertible some 10 years ago, it somehow had been registered in New York as a 1964 model. How that could have happened, I don't know, but NY's DMV accepted the data on the BMIHT certificate as proof that a May 1967-built car was, indeed, a 1967 model!

That said, I suggest leaving the paperwork as-is. If nothing else, it likely tells the history of a car that just plain didn't sell for the better part of two years, or perhaps one that a dealer held onto for other reasons (demonstrator? personal use?), after which time the car was finally sold and first titled as a 1967. Back then, one could easily get away with that. Even manufacturers like Triumph could do that legally. By 1968, when Federal safety and emissions standards came into play, model year / year of manufacture dominated.

Agreed, not high on my list. It was nice to find the paperwork, as the po had little. The cert said it was delivered to Midwest distributors in Chicago. I read somewhere they had a roll in the demise of the brand in the US. I'd rather chase history from that perspective when its too cold to tinker.
