Paul and Tom launched into nostalgia land on another thread, and I thought rather than continue the unintentional hijacking, I'd start a new one here. The topic is old ad campaigns and here's Paul's post:

Tom, your telling your age! :highly_amused:. How about "The Texaco Hour" and the on stage commercial selling Texaco products! What'd he say, "You Say You Get More For Your Money"! :jester: . Funny how I can remember those things, but where did I lay that wrench? PJ

Amen to that! And here are a couple to get us started:

Remember "LSMFT"?

How 'bout "You like it; it likes you"?

~And no fair Googling!~

When I was a kid my Dad was in the Navy and we were stationed in Hawaii for three years. His last tour was Orange Texas.
We had a big going away party on the beach and everyone was saying LSMFT which stood for "LORD SAVE ME FROM TEXAS"
No offense to you Texans but it was a big change.
